I really, really, really want it. Can I get one in the US? All the old-Ladas kind of look like the newer-Ladas so I don't know if we're at the 25-year mark...

Sure you can. Here's one in Germany that's 24 years and 11 months old for €1500, and here's a much nicer one that's 40 years old and costs €2500, also in Germany.

Oh man. I may be called crazy for it but once I can afford to do so, I might consider importing one. 64hp wouldn't be too bad around town, and for <3 grand (before import costs) it might be worth it for the unique-factor alone! I'd be the only Lada in the parking lot...
